IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS WEBSITE
The website you see here is an archive of the old KV-Scouts.org site prior to it's major overhaul and transformation into a Joomla! powered site in December of 2006. No changes or updates will be made to this oldsite and it is only here as an archival reference.
You will still need to visit the main site at "www.kv-scouts.org" (or just "kv.scouts.org") to keep abreast of all the goings on in the K-Valley District.
2006 Popcorn Survey
Steve Symonds - our Popcorn Kernal - would like you to take a survey. It's only one page long and if you can find the time to print it out and then bring it along with you to tonights Round Table or mail it to him at the address provided on the form it would be appreciated.
Doing so can help the District to have even a better sales year next Fall.
Thanks!

Roundtable Locations/Dates
Oakland Roundtable
Where: Mountaintop Christian Fellowship Church, Oakland
When: 7pm, 2nd Wednesday of each month
Who should attend? If you are registered as an adult leader with any unit in K-Valley
District, you are encouraged to attend Roundtable. OA members are also encouraged to attend as
the K-Valley Chapter meets same night/location.
What's it all about? Roundtable is the monthly information/supplemental training
meeting. This is where to go to get the latest news/information/handouts about upcoming
District and Council events BEFORE it can hit the website or email. In addition, there
are breakout training sessions for Cub Leaders and Scout Leaders. John Berryman (Cubs) and
Scott Bernier (Scouts) have some great training opportunities for you. This is also a great time to
learn new ideas for your youth and to network with fellow volunteers from across our huge
district (some travel all the way down from Jackman to attend!) or to chase down Matt Randall.
Come to Roundtable and have a good time!
Don't know how to get there? See the directions under "Important News" on the left side of this
web page.
Strong Roundtable
Where: Strong Elementary School
When: 7pm, 3rd Tuesday of the month in September, November, January, March and
May
Who should attend? See above from Oakland. Strong Roundtable is headed up by
Roundtable Commissioner Terri Mudie. OA also meets in Strong.
Every unit should have at least one representative at one or the other roundtable to keep on top of the latest news.
Congratulations to our 2006 District Award of Merit Recipients!
