The last time that an airshow was scheduled for the Naval Air station in Brunswick was September of 2001. Following the terrorist attacks, that show was cancelled. This September marks it's return. This September 10th and 11th the Navy Blue Angels and the USAF Heritage Flight Team will make an appearance as well as many more performers at The Great State of Maine Airshow. If you've never been before then don't miss this opportunity to see some of the best in military and civilian aviation on display and in the air all for an admission price that can't be beat, FREE! Yes, the day is free and there is so much to see and do that they hold it for 2 days. You will be able to walk right up inside various aircraft and check them out. Vendors from all over will have items for sale. And of course the show itself. Make your plans now to attend and consider making it a Pack or Troop event, it's that good. More information, including a schedule of events, can be found on the official site See you at the show! Steve Mudie, Co-Webmaster, KV-Scouts.org |
