Merit Badge collage

Boy Scouts!

Still missing those few Eagle required badges? Like to pick up a different Merit Badge than you already have? Then this November you'll be able to do just that!

WHERE: Seton Unit of Maine General Medical Center, Waterville

WHEN: Monday evenings, November 7, 14, 21 & 28. (6:30 - 8:30 PM)

This is an opportunity to earn merit badges. Each class is an hour long for four weeks. This will give scouts the opportunity to work on two merit badges through the month of November, both Eagle required and non-Eagle required.

So, why wait for summer camp to earn merit badges? Get out, meet new scouts and advance at the same time!

Scouts:

  1. Choose the merit badge(s) that you would like to take.

  2. Call (or email) the merit badge counselor to see if he/she has room in their class (most are limited to 10 scouts). SCOUTS MUST MAKE THE CALL—PARENTS AND SCOUT LEADERS CANNOT DO THIS. If so, ask to be put on list and find out if there are any assignments/materials you should do/need before the first class.

  3. GET BLUE CARD FROM YOUR SCOUTMASTER PRIOR TO THE FIRST CLASS (Make sure you get it signed.)

  4. Familiarize yourself with the merit badge book before coming to class (see your troop’s library or purchase at Joseph’s Sporting Goods, Pine Tree Council, or online by clicking on the picture of the Merit Badge book in the requirements via the links above)

  5. Attend all the classes!!

All classes are subject to cancellation if there are not enough scouts signed up.

You must register before November 1, 2005.

Please call or email me if you have any questions.
Thank You
