NO ROUNDTABLE IN JUNE!

There is no roundtable in June. Please see the Spring Kick-off Info below.

SPRING KICK-OFF and BANQUET INSTEAD--DIFFERENT NIGHT!

red arrow When: Wed. June 22

red arrow Where: China Baptist Church

red arrow Time: 6:30pm to (about) 9pm.

red arrow How Much: FREE! FREE! FREE! (Well, you need to bring a dessert to share)

This is a potluck dessert gathering--NO MEAL, but please bring a dessert to share with other attendees. Gathering starting at 6pm. The opening/ dessert sharing starts at 6:30pm, followed by the awards, including District Award of Merit.

In addition to the above, camperships will be awarded through the Bomazeen Old-Timers. Your unit receives one entry into the drawing for every person who has attended a roundtable and the banquet this year. Someone from your unit must be present at the banquet for your unit to win. Campership awards will be in the form of a voucher that you can turn in through the Council Office.

Also, our pinewood derby hosts, Pack 404 up in Hartland hope to be present to pass out video tapes (for those who ordered them) and patches to units who participated in the district pinewood derby. If you can not attend, please contact Myla Kreider at mkreider@msad48.org to make arrangements to get your videos/patches.

You didn't make the deadline to nominate someone for District Award of Merit? Get it in anyway so they can be considered for next year!

TRAINING

The next Adult Leader Training will be held at the LDS Church off Maine Avenue in Farmingdale (north of Gardiner, south of Hallowell/Augusta) on Saturday, June 11. Registration/check-in is 8-8:30am. The training runs 8:30am until done (roughly 3pm-ish or so). New Leader Essentials and Scout Leader specific (Cub Leaders, Scoutmaster/Assistant SM, etc.) will be offered. Fee is $7.00 and you need to bring a bag lunch.

Please pre-register. Registration form and info are on the website at: http://oldsite.kv-scouts.org/Training/tng_schedule.html

SPRING UNIT INVENTORY

Please get a copy of your current unit roster to Matt Randall no later than June 22nd (Banquet night). Matt needs these rosters to compare to the roster at the council office to make sure all of your boys are registered. If a boy is not registered he isn't covered by boy scout insurance. Units that don't turn in a roster can expect a phone call. Save yourself and Matt time, please get him a roster. You're welcome to email it if you wish at: Honors_Pride@hotmail.com

This is also the best way to contact Matt during the summer as he is serving one last year as Camp Director at Camp Hinds.
